Hajji

It is the fifth giant of Islam religion. Though it is the fifth one giant it is the most important one. There are few Muslims who can effort making hajji to Mecca, and those are the happiest Muslims. They recognize their hajji as the highest point of their serving to Allah. They are thirsty for making hajji and for seeing the house of god. Those, who are not able to make hajji have to find someone who will do it for them.

In his last pilgrimage Mohammed the prophet had defined the main features of hajji. With the lapse of time those features become typical features of hajji, which turned hajji into ceremony. That ceremony is rather simple according to its procedure and rather significant according to its meaning. It is like a final destination for one who walks on the road to Allah.

Hajji has to be made during period between the eighth and thirteenth days of twelfth month according to Muslim lunar calendar. Before the Muslim enters Mecca he has to perform the ceremonial ablution. It is common for that ablution to cut off one's hair and nails. After that the special clothes are worn, and those clothes are two seamless linens.

After one is over with his ablution and dressed up with linens he is allowed to enter Mecca. Before he will enter it after ablution he has to greet Allah with words "Here I am Allah, at yours sight!". With these words Muslims greet their god and after that they enter the sacred lands of Mecca.
