Shiahs

Shiism is the second broad branch of Islam after Sunnism. There are a lot of subdivisions common for Shiism though all of those subdivisions are united with one single thought. And that thought states that they are the issues of Mohammed the only people who are allowed to be chiefs of Muslim clergy. They are people who recognize issues of Alli, Mohammed's son in law, as those allowed.
Shiism is divided into several kinds, and those kinds of Shiism appeared as a result of contradictions between people. Those contradictions are based on discussion about which Allhids are worthy of imamate. Shiahs-imams recognize twelve imams as the only issues of Mohammed. They were respected and appreciated greatly.
Imams are recognized by Shiahs as those who are mediators between god and people. That is the base of whole ideology of Shiism and that is also the main difference between Shiism and Sunnism. According to ideology of Shiism the imam is the one who provided with gods blessing, and imam is also provided with some supernatural abilities by Allah.
Today Shiism is a common religion for Iran, Iraq and Lebanon. Most people of those countries are followers of Shiism and they recognize no other issues of Mohammed. A number of Shiism communities also exist in Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Though, it is only the second broad branch of Islam, and the first broad branch is Sunnism.
